Rod Greenup, owner of Costa Azul, and the surf instruction staff are lifelong surfers. Rod has been instructing students for the past 20 years with outstanding results. Each staff member is carefully trained by Rod. Costa Azul has been offering surf lessons since the mid-eighties and and is more experienced than any other school in Laguna Beach.



Hi Rod,
I had a blast (as always) surfing with you this week - Thursday was the most amazing day ever!!! (Of course the others were awesome, too! I'm glad I had the chance to meet and surf with Pete - so nice and a great addition to your staff!)

Thanks for spending so much time helping me design just the right board for me (soooo stoked to finally be getting my own!!). Sounds like the timing of it being finished might just work out so that I can come down again end of May/start of June to pick it up and try it out. :-)

I just wanted to thank you for the surfboard; I really appreciate your loyalty and generosity. It's rare to find these days. The board is awesome, I surfed it Sunday. Rod....Just wanted to say thank you again for the surfing lesson on Monday April, 3. You must be one heck of a teacher to get an old guy like me to catch his first wave ever in an hour of instruction. I thoroughly enjoyed it an will be back again the next time we are in Laguna which should be in October if not sooner.

Hey rod it's Carsen I had a really great time surfing with you and I'm glad you taught me even after I was scared! So any ways how is it up in Laguna its dreadfully hott down here in Vegas I cant wait to come back up soon! I miss all of you and tell Goff to pick a winner for me thanks a bunch!!
